Little Pinnock Pella is a beautifully renovated barn with heaps of charm. Decorated to a very high standard throughout, Pella has stripped antique pine floorboards, loose rugs and walls that are up to three feet thick.
The large high-beamed sitting room has an open fireplace, two sofas, slate hearth & TV. At one end of the room is a well equipped fitted kitchen with electric cooker & oven, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier and a large farm house table with six chairs.
Above the kitchen area is an open gallery, reached by a great sliding stair ladder. The gallery has one narrow mattress under the eaves.
Pella offers two bedrooms, one double and a second bedroom with a double and a single bed. The large double, which is on the ground floor, has an en-suite bathroom with a Victorian roll top bath. The second bedroom can be found on the first floor and has a separate loo and shower room.
Our favourite part of Pella is the large south-facing terrace overlooking the gardens that lead on to fields and down to a stream. Wake up early and you may see wild deer in the garden. It is perfect for catching the sun all day and watching the stars by night.
