Step into the comfortable, stylishly decorated living/dining room, with sumptuous sofa, armchairs and plenty of space around the dining table. This leads into a fully fitted kitchen, perfect for the chef of the family, with oven, gas hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. However, if you don’t wish to cook there’s an array of restaurants, pubs and eateries serving up delicious food just minutes away.
Follow the stairs up to the master bedroom with a kingsize bed, dressed in white linen. The large family bathroom with bath and separate shower, comes with bath sheets and hand towels.
Continue up the stairs to the top floor and you’ll find a large triple eaves bedroom with sloping ceilings. There are 2 standard single beds and 1 smaller 2’6” single bed – recommended for a child.
Back down to the ground floor where there is a small courtyard with garden furniture for early risers to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee while waiting for the world to wake up. In the small out house you’ll find the washer/dryer, iron, and ironing board and a Victorian clothes pulley to dry your clothes on.
You’ll find Skylark Cottage just a stones throw away from the Town Quay, St Fimbarr’s Church and Place House, home of the Treffry family and still a landmark in Fowey today.
Readymoney Beach is a ten-minute hop and a skip away, through Fowey streets with pretty houses painted in muted hues and shops full of trinkets.
Enjoy summers on beaches with picnics and winter’s tucked up watching your favourite drama on the smart TV after a brisk walk. Or read a book and listen to music , while winter plays outside the cottage.
