Perfect for couples and families alike, you have restaurants, pubs, galleries and lots of independent shops to browse in, right on your doorstep.

The pontoon, a favourite for messing about on the water and crabbing, is just opposite while the more adventurous can enjoy wonderful walks. Choose from the Hall Walk to the Saints Way, Fowey to Polkerris headland walk, or in the other direction to Lantic Bay from Polruan just to mention a few.

On entering the apartment, the hallway has plenty of space for shoes, boots and coats. Continue along the hallway and you’ll find the large open plan lounge, kitchen and dinning area, which is to the front of the property. The lounge has a large wrap around sofa and wide windows that look over the river giving you stunning views of the pontoon, Albert Quay and beyond. If you choose to eat in, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your holiday. It has a Gas hob, electric oven, large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, micro wave and granite worktops, perfect for preparing a meal that you can enjoy on the wonderful roof terrace in the sunshine.

The master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room is to the front of the property with its amazing views over the water to wake up to.

The second bedroom, to the back of the property, has a king-size bed and looks onto Bull Hill, which is very quiet.

The family bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath, for relaxing, with an overhead shower.

The roof terrace in Quarterdeck is a wonderful space to enjoy the day watching all the comings and goings on the river, lazing on the sun beds reading. For sun worshippers it has two sun loungers and a large swing bench to spend lazy afternoons with a good book. The large patio dining table is perfect for enjoying meals with family and friends that go on all day and into the evening.

There is always something to watch on the river from the apartment, with Fowey being such a busy port. The larger clay ships are turned around by tugs directly opposite, this makes it easier for them when they leave. You will see lots of yachts, smaller sailing boats and the occasional cruise ship with the passengers disembarking on the Albert quay opposite.

The apartment, like so many in Fowey, does not have parking but is located directly opposite the Harbour Office and the Albert Quay (next to Joules) where there is limited space for short term and overnight parking. Of course, spaces are not guaranteed. This can be useful for unloading and also parking on the night before departure. The apartment is situated above the shop Trespass, where there is room on the right hand side of the road to pull in for five minutes and unload if there is a space!
