Lantern Cottage is the perfect home away from home for families, groups of friends or couples to get away from the hustle and bustle. Whilst being in Fowey town, it is tucked away and only a short walk to all the restaurants and shops.
Lantern Cottage has a lovely large living/dining room, which is smartly furnished and very comfortable, with wood burning stove, two sofas, TV, DVD and CD/ipod docking system. The dining area has a big farmhouse-style table, with 6 chairs, leading through to a well equipped kitchen with ample storage space, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, Dualit kettle and toaster, and a fridge/freezer, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils. Patio door take you outside to a small patio area with patio furniture, barbeque and a utility shed housing a washing machine/ tumble dryer.
On the first floor you will find one king size bedroom with views over rooftops towards the front of the cottage and one twin bedroom with views over the church tower and roof tops towards Place, which looks like a castle. This floor also has the luxury family bathroom with a full size bath, separate walk in shower and heated towel rail.
On the second floor you will find the master bedroom with en-suit shower room and beautiful views over the rooftops and the river. This bedroom also has a king size bed, small wardrobe and wicker chairs in the large picture windows, the perfect place to have morning coffee and watch life on the river. All the beds have Egyptian Cotton sheets and Ralph Lauren towels.
