Number 2 Cobbs Well Cottage is tucked away down one of the quiet corners of the historic harbour town of Fowey, on the passageway leading into town past the church and Place. The cottage is only a stones throw away from the River and super restaurants, pubs, shops and all that Fowey has to offer.
This pretty cottage has been beautifully renovated, including under floor heating, yet has managed to retain all the charm of yesteryear. Cobble stones outside by the front door so please be careful as these can been uneven. Low ceilings, mind the beams, higgledy piggledy stairs leading up to the bedrooms all add to the charm of this property.
It offers open plan living downstairs with a fully equipped kitchen where you will find everything you need for your self catering holiday, including a fantastic Mercury range cooker and a Nespresso coffee maker.
Walk in through the front door into a large living dinning space with lots of seating on the L shaped sofa and a Log Burner for cosy winter nights (logs can be bought locally). There is also a dining table sitting six people and a Smart TV.
The patio and garden is a total sun trap in the summer and is perfect for those lovely morning coffees with croissants fresh from the bakery or simply, just to sit and while away time with friends and family. Or why not enjoy a glass of wine around a gorgeous evening BBQ.
The master bedroom with king size bed on the second floor is very spacious, with views of the church and glimpses of the river over the rooftops of Fowey. You will also find a large luxury bathroom with walk in shower, large bath and twin sinks on this floor. Both these rooms have part low ceilings so mind your heads.
The first floor offers one double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom with an over the bath shower.
