Drive through the large gates into the shared court yard and you have entered into a historic part of Fowey and left the busy World behind. This delightful little ground floor studio with its own entrance, is a part of the owners property and is the perfect base to enjoy Fowey.
Fowey has much to offer with cafe’s restaurants, pubs galleries and shops. Just a short walk away, you’ll discover some great restaurants, Fitzroy’s, Appleton’s North Street Kitchen, Buffalo and Pintxo Tapas bar to name just a few.
The annual Fowey Royal Regatta in August is a week long festival with fantastic racing on the river and lots of activists off the water for adults and children starting and ending with a great firework display.
Fowey has links to Daphne Du Maurier and Kenneth Grahame, The Wind in the Willows, which is loosely based on the River Fowey.
There is always plenty to do, such as, cycling, walking, golf, horse riding, kayaking, beautiful gardens to visit, National Trust estates with amazing houses and castles. Not to mention the Southwest Coastal path which winds its way along the coastline with lovely coves for a picnic.
