Mole’s House is a beautiful 3 bedroomed home set in the small picturesque riverside village of Bodinnick over looking the River Fowey.
This holiday cottage has been completely renovated and finished to include some unusual and stylish touches. A well equipped floating kitchen with featured lighting, nautical objects and fabulous bathrooms.
Perfectly placed for family holidays messing about on the water, Skippered Day Sailing can be arranged on a 40’ sailing yacht. Or romantic getaways for couples with a roaring log fire on cooler evenings. The start for the famous Hall Walk lies just up the hill, a moderate 4 mile walk that takes you through stunning woodlands and creeks, perfect for picnics, with striking views over Fowey and the harbour.
You can also take the Bodinnick ferry across to Fowey to explore the many independent shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries.
As you enter Mole’s House you have a snug that opens out on to the decked area which looks down to the River Fowey and the Ferry Inn. This area is perfect for drinks and BBq’s or just sitting reading a book, sipping a glass of Fizz or having a coffee while watching the comings and goings on the river.
On the same floor there is a large family shower room and utility with large fridge freezer and washer/dryer.
Upstairs you’ll find a lovely bright open plan living, dining and kitchen area, again with pretty estuary views. The kitchen is well equipped for the home cook, but of course the Ferry Inn is just on your door step offering excellent locally sourced food and local ales, not to mention the many restaurants and pubs in Fowey. If dining at home, you’ll find a large dining table with seating for 6. The living space has two comfy sofas, a log burner and french doors that open inwards, looking down the hill to the River Fowey.
Up a couple of steps from the dining area, there is a loo to your right and the twin bedroom on the left. The master bedroom with ensuite and the 2nd double bedroom is further along the hallway.
Moles House is not only situated in a idllic location but also offers private parking for 2 cars.
